Actresses Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill, along with their co-stars Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, and Dolly Singh, are en route to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to present their film ‘Thank You For Coming.’ The journey to Canada was documented with snapshots and videos.
In a heartwarming clip shared on Instagram, Shehnaaz interacted with Bhumi, prompting Bhumi to caption it, “You are our heart ki heroie @shehnaazgill.” The two were spotted twinning in pink sweatshirts.
‘Thank You For Coming,’ directed by Karan Boolani, producer Rhea Kapoor’s husband, also features Anil Kapoor and Karan Kundrra. Anil Kapoor expressed his enthusiasm for the TIFF screening, saying, “I’ve been wanting to attend TIFF ever since Slumdog Millionaire! That year, I traveled to pretty much all the celebrated festivals for Slumdog – from BFI in London to Cannes and everything in between. The only festival I couldn’t attend then was TIFF… I get to be there in the capacity of a proud producer!” ‘Thank You For Coming’ will grace theaters on October 6.
