In a historic fashion event, designer Varun Bahl unveiled his latest collection, “A Love Letter to Kashmir,” against the backdrop of the stunning Lalit Grand palace in Srinagar, marking the first mainstream Indian designer show in the valley in decades.
Bollywood stars Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem stole the limelight as they graced the runway. Huma Qureshi looked resplendent in a champagne gold bridal lehenga adorned with sequins, bugle beads, and dabka work. Saqib Saleem exuded traditional charm in a black sherwani with elaborate embroidery.
Varun Bahl’s collection paid homage to the beauty of Kashmir, where he spent his childhood, featuring floral motifs and poetic inspirations. Huma’s ensemble radiated elegance with its contrasting tones and unique patterns, while Saqib’s groom attire made a bold statement.
