Trevor Noah Apologizes as Technical Glitches Lead to Bengaluru Show Cancellation

Renowned comedian and television host Trevor Noah, fresh from his performance in Delhi, had eagerly anticipated bringing laughter to Bengaluru. However, unforeseen technical issues with the sound system marred the event. Initially slated at the Manpho Convention Centre near Manyata Tech Park in Nagavara, Northern Bengaluru, the show was slated to commence at 7.30 pm but experienced a slight delay, kicking off around 8 pm. Unfortunately, around 9 pm, Noah took to social media to announce the cancellation of the show, attributing it to persistent technical difficulties. He assured fans that ticket refunds would be processed.

In a tweet, Noah expressed his regret: “Dear Bengaluru India, I was so looking forward to performing in your amazing city but due to technical issues we’ve been forced to cancel both shows.”

According to reports, Noah’s delayed arrival in Bengaluru was due to traffic congestion, with many attendees also affected by jams on the Outer Ring Road. Once inside, attendees were met with audio problems, prompting Noah to exit the stage, resulting in a disappointing evening for all involved. One social media user commented, “Commuters who were stuck in #traffic and also those who were trying to sell the tickets must have been happy hearing this.”

Among those caught in the traffic, some who had originally purchased tickets at Rs 6500 decided to resell them for Rs 5000. Meanwhile, another individual preparing to board a flight for the next show was disheartened upon learning of the event’s cancellation.

Trevor Noah, known for his humorous and candid approach to politics, was on tour in India, entertaining audiences in three major cities: Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
