Akshay Kumar’s latest release, Mission Raniganj, had a decent opening weekend but saw a Monday dip in box office collections. The film collected approximately ₹1.25 crore on Monday, bringing its total earnings to ₹13.85 crore after four days.
The movie opened with ₹2.8 crore on Friday and gained momentum over the weekend, earning ₹4.80 crore on Saturday and ₹5 crore on Sunday. Despite the Monday dip, it outperformed its competition, including Thank You For Coming.
Akshay Kumar recently released the motivational song “Jeetenge” from the film, sung by B Praak. The song, penned by Dr. Kumar Vishwas and composed by Arko, added emotional depth to the movie.
Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor, Mission Raniganj stars Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, and Kumud Mishra. The film is inspired by the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission in November 1989.
As Mission Raniganj continues its box office run, it remains a significant addition to Akshay Kumar’s filmography, offering inspiration and drama for moviegoers.
