The highly anticipated film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has amassed a staggering Rs 540 crore within just 12 days of its release. Amid the immense success, ‘Leo’ shows no signs of slowing down, maintaining its steady performance both in India and the international market on its 13th day.
The action-packed thriller ‘Leo’ debuted to tremendous anticipation on October 19 and has since broken numerous box office records. The production house, Seven Screen Studio, proudly announced the film’s remarkable earnings, further solidifying its position as the next significant triumph in the Tamil film industry following the success of ‘Jailer’.
With an estimated net collection of around Rs 4.10 crore in India on Tuesday, October 31, ‘Leo’ has maintained its strong hold in the second week, with expectations for increased collections during the upcoming weekend. The film has garnered a total of Rs 312 crore in India over the course of 13 days, achieving an overall occupancy of 19.14% on October 31.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Leo’ marks the second collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and the acclaimed director, following the success of their previous venture, ‘Master’.
