Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who made headlines with the announcement of Ranveer Singh’s participation in ‘Don 3,’ is now focusing on bringing back Priyanka Chopra for the sequel. According to insiders, the ‘Don 3’ team has reached out to Priyanka, inviting her to reprise her iconic character, Roma Bhagat, from the ‘Don’ franchise. Initial discussions reportedly took place during Priyanka’s recent visit to India, where she used her time to align talks and explore her next project in the Hindi film industry.
A close source shared, “The team of ‘Don 3’ has indeed approached Priyanka Chopra to revisit her character. In fact, the first few meetings also took place when Priyanka came to India recently for another professional commitment. The source added, “Priyanka has a very close bond with Farhan, and is trying to make it work and checking her schedule. Her return might also become a reality as Shah Rukh is no longer associated with the project.
