Shah Rukh Khan, gearing up for a double cinematic treat in December with ‘Dunki’ and daughter Suhana Khan’s ‘The Archies’, shared his playful excitement during a recent ‘Ask SRK’ session on X (formerly Twitter).
Scheduled for release on December 22, ‘Dunki’ marks Shah Rukh Khan’s third film of the year. Meanwhile, Suhana Khan is set to make her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies,’ premiering on Netflix on December 7.
During the ‘Dunki Drop 2’ event on November 22, a curious fan questioned SRK about his level of excitement between his upcoming film and Suhana’s debut project. In his characteristically witty style, Shah Rukh replied, “Suhana loves Dunki, and I love Archies. Between the two of us, I think we are all sorted. #Dunki.”
The first song from ‘Dunki,’ titled ‘Lutt Putt Gaya,’ was unveiled on November 22. Featuring soulful vocals by Arijit Singh and music by Pritam, the song intricately captures the love-filled journey of the characters Manu and Hardy.
On the other hand, ‘The Archies’ represents the Indian adaptation of the popular Archie comics. Directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Tiger Baby Productions, the film promises an exciting cinematic experience and is set to premiere on Netflix on December 7.
