Congress Plans 'Bharat Nyay Yatra' Led by Rahul Gandhi: Route and Logo Finalisation Underway

In a strategic move ahead of the anticipated ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’, the Congress party has scheduled a pivotal meeting involving key leaders to deliberate on the yatra’s itinerary and logo.

Scheduled to commence on January 14, the ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’ has been earmarked as a significant campaign initiative for the Congress party. As part of the preparations, a meeting has been convened on January 4, bringing together 14 state presidents along with Congress Legislative Party leaders.

Central to the discussions in this meeting will be the finalisation of the yatra’s route, which will traverse 14 states across India, spanning a total of 67 days. The party has earmarked January 8 for the official announcement of the yatra’s route, followed by the unveiling of its official logo on the same day.

The ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’ is envisioned as a combination of foot marches by party leaders and bus journeys, symbolizing the party’s commitment to engage with the masses across various terrains and regions. Rahul Gandhi, a prominent face of the Congress party, is slated to interact with diverse groups and individuals during the yatra, amplifying the campaign’s outreach.

Initiated on December 27, the yatra’s ambit spans from Manipur to Mumbai, crossing 85 districts and weaving through the socio-political fabric of 14 states. The campaign is perceived as a strategic move by the Congress party to galvanise support and momentum in the run-up to the pivotal 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This initiative echoes Rahul Gandhi’s past endeavours, notably the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, where he undertook a remarkable journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, covering over 4,000 km in a span of 136 days.
