In the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, the tumultuous relationship between Ankita Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain took center stage. Ankita shared startling details from her conversation with her mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, who made a brief appearance in the Bigg Boss house.
Amidst headlines, Ankita brought to light shocking revelations during a discussion with Vicky. The episode unfolded as Vicky’s father contacted Ankita’s mother, Vandana Lokhande, following an incident where Ankita threw a slipper at Vicky. This raised questions about her behavior towards her late husband.
Before diving into the contentious discussion, Ankita asked Vicky a crucial question: “Do you trust me?” She revealed, “Meri mummy ko papa (Vicky’s father) ne phone kiya tha (Your father called my mother). (He asked) ‘Aap aapke pati ko aisi maarti thi kya chappal jute phek ke?’ Papa ne aur bhi bola tha. (He said) ‘Aapki aukat kya hai? (Did you throw chappals at your late husband? He said more. He told my mom, ‘What is your worth?)’ I politely told mummy that she was alone, my papa recently passed away. I genuinely felt guilty and apologized to her. Later, my mom revealed that papa had told her many other things. But I asked her to not bring this up.”
In response, Vicky defended his father’s actions, emphasizing that their families’ portrayal on the show leans towards presenting them as ‘rich egoistic people.’ He expressed concerns about Ankita’s family bearing the brunt of the narrative.
Despite Ankita’s attempts to clarify that there’s no intention to portray Vicky’s family negatively, Vicky remained firm, asking, “Did you ever see this, even after everything happened in the therapy room?” Ankita sought confirmation from Vicky about his family’s interference in her career and personal life, to which she denied but acknowledged the potential impact on their mothers who haven’t seen them in such a light.
Ankita expressed her willingness to apologize multiple times to maintain the respect and love she has earned in Vicky’s house. The couple, married for over two years, dated for a few years before tying the knot in December 2021. Notably, Ankita was previously in a relationship with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
