Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif engaged in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ (AMA) session on Instagram, providing fans with insights into her life, marriage to Vicky Kaushal, and experiences during the filming of Merry Christmas.
Katrina shared her favorite part of being a Punjabi daughter-in-law, expressing love for the warmth and homemade Punjabi delicacies, particularly mentioning sarso ka saag, makki ki roti, and white makhan. Her response echoed the cultural connection she has embraced since marrying Vicky Kaushal.
During the AMA, Katrina humorously responded to a question about her cooking preferences, stating “Khayali Pulao” as her favorite dish to cook.
Discussing her film Merry Christmas, Katrina praised director Sriram Raghavan’s clear vision for each character and described the experience as one of the most gratifying in her career. She highlighted the challenges Raghavan presents to actors, noting that despite the difficulties, the outcome made her proud to be part of the film.
Regarding her ability to speak Tamil in the movie, Katrina admitted it was a challenging experience but credited her co-actor Vijay Sethupathi and Tamil artist Depa Venkat for their support.
In response to a fan’s query about the best reaction she received for the film, Katrina shared a picture of Vicky Kaushal hugging her, captioning it as a “Jhappi from hubby” with a heart emoji.
Merry Christmas, which had a simultaneous release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, has received positive reviews, and Katrina’s performance has been well-received. The film has earned Rs 13.83 crore in six days at the box office, with another week to perform before the release of Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter on January 25.
