Unveiling the plans during the Republic Day parade in Ujjain, Yadav emphasized the development of the Chitrakoot region, where Lord Ram is believed to have spent a significant part of his exile, under the ‘Ram Gaman Path’ project.
- Ram Gaman Path Project: The Chitrakoot region, associated with Lord Ram’s exile, will undergo significant development as part of the ‘Ram Gaman Path’ project. The places where Lord Ram, Sita, and Laxman stayed during their exile will be transformed into crucial religious sites.
- Annual Ramayan Fair: Yadav announced plans for an annual Ramayan fair in Chitrakoot to raise awareness about the life of Lord Ram. This initiative aims to make Chitrakoot a world-class center for religious tourism.
- Teerth Darshan Yojana: Under the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana, beneficiaries will be taken on pilgrimages to Ayodhya, further promoting religious tourism.
Vision for Chitrakoot: Mohan Yadav expressed the government’s determination to make Chitrakoot a world-class hub for religious tourism. The ‘Ramayan Mela’ and other developmental efforts in the region are geared towards achieving this vision.
Acknowledgment of Inclusive Growth: Chief Minister Yadav acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in ensuring inclusive growth in the country. He highlighted the successful implementation of the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” principle under Modi’s leadership.
Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra: During the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in the state, Yadav noted that over 50 lakh new beneficiaries were added under various welfare schemes launched by the central government. The yatra aims to create awareness about schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, PM Surakshya Bima, and Ayusman Bharat.
