Abhishek Bachchan, the renowned actor, shares his perspective on parenting. He candidly acknowledges that his wife, the talented actor Aishwarya Rai, handles most of the household responsibilities, allowing him the freedom to focus on his work.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, Abhishek was questioned about his parenting advice, particularly in dealing with teenagers who may exhibit rebellious behavior. While he provided valuable insights into parenthood, Abhishek also openly admitted that he doesn’t bear the primary responsibility for household chores.
He explained, “I must clarify that I don’t take on the major responsibilities at home. My wife handles those effortlessly, allowing me to pursue my work. The key is not to attempt to control everything. I believe the new generation doesn’t adhere to a strict hierarchy as we did in the past.”
Abhishek further elaborated on the evolving dynamics of parenting, stating, “Today’s youngsters are naturally curious and question everything. They don’t readily accept authority just because someone is their parent. They have access to vast information and technology, which shapes their perspectives. Therefore, my advice is to engage with them, answer their queries, and foster open communication.”
