Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence’s horror-comedy, “Chandramukhi 2,” continues to impress at the box office. On its sixth day, the film earned approximately Rs 2 crore, bringing its total earnings to Rs 31 crore. While it secured a 13.10 percent occupancy rate in the Tamil-speaking market, it faced a decline in Hyderabad’s Telugu-speaking region.
“Chandramukhi 2” has found a dedicated audience in South India, despite competition from other releases like “The Vaccine War” and “Fukrey 3.” This marks a positive turn for Kangana Ranaut, whose recent films faced various challenges.
The movie’s success is significant, considering Kangana’s previous releases, including “Dhaakad,” “Thalaivii,” “Panga,” and “Judgementall Hai Kya.”
Kangana is now preparing for her next project, “Tejas,” where she portrays Tejas Gill, an Indian Air Force pilot.
“Chandramukhi 2,” a sequel to the 2005 hit film starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika, has captivated the southern box office and is produced by Lyca Productions. With a strong track record of delivering blockbusters, Lyca Productions continues to excel in the Indian film industry.
