In a recent Instagram post, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu turned heads with her elegant pink saree and captivating smile. However, it was the conspicuous absence of her ‘Chay’ tattoo that ignited curiosity among her fans. Samantha’s ‘Chay’ tattoo, an ode to her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya, had been a constant feature even after their divorce.
The missing tattoo has left fans wondering if Samantha decided to remove it or cleverly concealed it with makeup. Originally inked on her right ribcage in 2019, the cursive ‘Chay’ tattoo was unmistakable. While its sudden disappearance raises questions, it was visible during Samantha’s attendance at the premiere of ‘Citadel’ in London this April.
During an Instagram Q&A session, Samantha hinted at potential tattoo regrets, advising her younger self, “Never ever get a tattoo.” She has three tattoos in total, including ‘YMC’ on her back (from her debut film “Ye Maaya Chesave”) and a symbol of two upward arrows on her right wrist, a design shared with Naga Chaitanya.
Despite taking a short break from films following a series of less successful releases, Samantha is gearing up for her role in the web series “Citadel” alongside Varun Dhawan, directed by Raj & DK.
