Renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal, 62, finds himself in critical condition at the intensive care unit of Medanta hospital in Gurugram. Admitted due to complications arising from a pre-existing cardiac condition, Bal’s health has become a cause for concern.
The designer, known for his significant contributions to the fashion industry, had previously undergone emergency angioplasty in 2010 after experiencing a heart attack. This recent hospitalization is reportedly related to the same cardiac issue, exacerbated by an infection.
A doctor at Medanta hospital shared, “He came with a heart condition that is getting stabilized but he also has an infection which is creating trouble.”
Living with a pacemaker for several years, Bal has faced challenges with it recently, leading to his hospitalization. Last year in November, he was admitted to the same hospital, receiving a visit from his longtime friend, actor Arjun Rampal.
In response to inquiries about Bal’s condition, his brother, Rajesh Bal, requested, “Just pray for my brother.” As the fashion industry and well-wishers await updates on Rohit Bal’s health, thoughts and prayers are extended for his speedy recovery.
