Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Expands 'Campus to Corporate Program' in Telangana

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), a prominent FMCG company in India, is set to extend its highly regarded ‘Campus to Corporate Program’ in Telangana. Collaborating with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and Aahan Consulting, the program aims to equip around 5,000 final-year diploma students from Government Polytechnic Colleges with employable skills in 2024. The initiative was officially launched at the Government Girls Polytechnic College, attended by key dignitaries, including Sri C. Srinath, Regional Joint Director, Department of Technical Education, Telangana. The program focuses on bridging the skills and employability gap among the youth in Telangana.

This initiative expands on a successful partnership that commenced in 2022, surpassing its initial goal by training over 15,000 students across Telangana. The program aligns with a Memorandum of Understanding signed between HCCB and TASK, aiming to upskill an additional 10,000 college students by the 2023-24 academic year. The ‘Campus to Corporate’ program endeavors to make college students industry-ready by offering training sessions on soft skills, resume building, interview preparation, and more. It contributes to nurturing talent and fostering a seamless transition from academia to the industry, ensuring the next generation excels in the corporate landscape.

Sri C. Srinath, Regional Joint Director, Department of Technical Education, Telangana, appreciates the significance of initiatives like ‘Campus to Corporate’ in facilitating a smooth transition for students into professional roles. The program plays a crucial role in enhancing the skillset of students, contributing to Telangana’s growth story.

HCCB, deeply committed to Telangana’s growth, aims to empower the state’s youth through the ‘Campus to Corporate Program.’ The initiative reflects the company’s dedication to supporting economic development, driving positive community change, and aligns with its recent discussions with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri A. Revanth Reddy. The company’s broader engagement with the Government of Telangana includes projects related to skill development, water stewardship, and waste management.

This expansion announcement follows closely on the heels of HCCB’s meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, highlighting the company’s INR 3,000 crores expansion plans in the state, including a greenfield project at Bandatimmapur in Siddipet district. HCCB looks forward to playing a vital role in supporting Telangana’s vibrant economy and contributing to the state’s overall development.
