On the domestic front, the Atlee-directed film has surged past the impressive Rs 300-crore milestone, joining the ranks of the third Bollywood film in 2023 to achieve this feat within India.
‘Jawan’ embarked on its journey with a bang, earning Rs 74.50 crore on its first day across all languages in India. It went on to claim the record for the biggest opening day in Hindi cinema history, amassing a staggering Rs 129.06 crore globally. By Day 5, September 11, ‘Jawan’ had collected Rs 30 crore in India, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 316.16 crore. The film consistently maintained an occupancy rate of 32.85% on Sunday, September 10.
Internationally, ‘Jawan’ has already exceeded the Rs 550-crore mark, with projections suggesting it could reach 590 crores, according to Box Office Worldwide.
