She elaborated, “It’s evident when you compare the box office performance of the top 10 male-led films to that of female-led ones. The discrepancy in these numbers is hard to ignore.”
Furthermore, Kaif referenced a common industry sentiment, sharing, “I’ve heard arguments suggesting that if the box office numbers differ so significantly, it’s only natural for the remuneration to reflect that. However, the challenge lies in determining which elements truly define a film’s success. After all, a movie’s impact is shaped by numerous factors.”
