Mission Raniganj's Collection Hits ₹16 Crore as Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra Shine

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer “Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue” has had a lukewarm performance at the domestic box office. Early estimates from Sacnilk.com indicate that the film collected ₹1.5 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total earnings in India to around ₹16 crore. The movie, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, began with ₹2.8 crore on the first day and continued with ₹4.8 crore on the second day, ₹5 crore on the third day, and ₹1.50 crore on the fourth day. The film’s Hindi version had an occupancy rate of 9.6 percent on Tuesday.

Akshay Kumar, who plays a lead role in the film, expressed his pride in “Mission Raniganj,” considering it one of his best works. Despite the box office challenges, he commended the director, Tinu, for dedicating 4-5 years to the screenplay and called it a remarkable film.

“Mission Raniganj” is inspired by the real-life story of Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission in 1989. Akshay Kumar recently unveiled the motivational song “Jeetenge” from the film, which is receiving attention.

The film continues its journey at the box office, aiming to make its mark in Indian cinema.
