MS Dhoni Joins Former US President Donald Trump for a Round of Golf at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster

In an unexpected yet delightful turn of events, former India cricket captain, MS Dhoni, enjoyed a friendly round of golf with none other than former US President Donald Trump at the prestigious Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. The duo’s golf outing comes hot on the heels of Dhoni’s appearance at the US Open men’s singles quarterfinals match between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev.

Hitesh Sanghvi, a Dubai-based businessman, took to Instagram to share his gratitude for the memorable occasion, posting a photo with the caption, “Golf with @mahi7781, @realdonaldtrump and @rajiv.knack…….thank you mr president for hosting us 🙏🙏🙏.” Sanghvi also treated fans with an Instagram story, capturing moments of Dhoni and Trump enjoying their game of golf.

Sanghvi, a close associate of MS Dhoni, has shared glimpses of their time together, emphasizing the camaraderie between the cricket icon and the former US President. Their presence at the US Open, a day prior to their golf match, further cemented their shared interest in sports.

Earlier this year, MS Dhoni underwent a successful left knee surgery in a Mumbai hospital, fueling hopes of participating in the upcoming 17th edition of the Indian Premier League. Leading the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title, Dhoni demonstrated remarkable resilience despite his knee condition. Post the final, he sought the expertise of renowned sports orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, who is a prominent member of the BCCI medical panel and has performed surgeries for several elite Indian cricketers, including Rishabh Pant.

Throughout the season, Dhoni performed remarkably despite the noticeable strapping on his left knee. While he excelled in wicket-keeping, there were instances where he batted lower down the order and faced challenges in his running between the wickets.
