PM Modi Prioritizes Border Area Development, Dismisses Fear of Enemies

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a bold statement during his visit to Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, emphasizing the government’s commitment to prioritize the development of border areas. He rejected the apprehension of external threats that had hindered past governments and called the development of border villages the foremost goal.

Modi stated that previous administrations had neglected these regions, labeling them the “last villages” due to the fear of enemies infiltrating the country. However, his government has moved beyond this mindset and aims to foster the comprehensive development of these border villages.

He highlighted the government’s recent milestones, including the historic decision to grant 33% reservation to women in legislative bodies, echoing the people’s aspirations for progress. This move is expected to elevate the nation to new heights.

Modi also underlined India’s growing global prominence, acknowledging the nation’s resolve in overcoming challenges. He concluded by emphasizing that when he engages with international leaders, they see the 1.4 billion people of India reflected in him.
