Axiom Space, the commercial space enterprise overseeing this venture, envisions Prada’s design acumen—honed not just on fashion runways but also through endeavors like the America’s Cup sailing competition—as a valuable asset. The collaboration will give birth to the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit, empowering astronauts to access, inhabit, and work on the Moon as part of NASA’s Artemis program.
