The political landscape in Rajasthan may see a significant shift, as per the latest exit poll results predicting a potential win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Following the state’s tradition of alternating between BJP and Congress governments for the last 25 years, seven out of eight exit polls suggest a favorable outcome for the BJP.
In the current Assembly, the Congress holds 107 seats, while the BJP has 70. The ABP News-CVoter survey anticipates the BJP winning between 94-114 seats, while Congress is expected to secure 71-91 seats. Dainik Bhaskar’s exit poll projects 98-105 seats for the BJP and 85-95 seats for Congress. The India Today-Axis My India poll foresees a closely contested battle, with 80-100 seats for the BJP and 86-106 seats for Congress.
Contrarily, the India TV-CNX gives Congress a slight advantage, predicting 94-104 seats, while expecting the BJP to secure around 80-90 seats, falling below the majority mark of 100. Times Now-ETG Rajasthan Election Exit Polls indicate a majority for the BJP with 108-128 seats, while Congress is anticipated to receive 56-72 seats. The Jan Ki Baat survey also points towards a BJP victory, projecting the saffron party to secure 111 seats compared to Congress’s 74, with 14 seats going to other parties.
