During an event in Indore, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh drew parallels between prominent BJP leaders and renowned Indian cricketers, aiming to invigorate the party’s election campaign in Madhya Pradesh. Singh equated Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to the legendary cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, renowned for his exceptional finishing skills. Additionally, he likened Kailash Vijayvargiya to Hardik Pandya, emphasizing their influential roles in Madhya Pradesh politics.
Highlighting the transformation of Madhya Pradesh from a “Bimaru rajya” to its present state, Singh credited the BJP and Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government for the significant progress achieved during their tenure. He also criticized the former Congress government for returning a substantial number of houses sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana during Kamal Nath’s leadership.
With the upcoming Assembly polls scheduled for November 17 in Madhya Pradesh, Singh emphasized the importance of re-electing the BJP, citing the state’s crucial position as the “heart of India” and Indore’s significance as its pulsating core, symbolized by Kailash Vijayvargiya. Vijayvargiya is contesting against Congress leader Sanjay Shukla in the Indore-1 constituency, with the results set to be declared on December 3.
