Sara Ali Khan Engages in a Heartfelt Conversation with David Beckham at Meta Office in Mu

In a captivating encounter on November 16, Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan sat down for a conversation with football legend David Beckham at the Meta office in Mumbai. The discussion touched upon various facets of Beckham’s life, including his commitment to social responsibility, family, and his recently released Netflix documentary, ‘Beckham.’

The conversation, shared on social media, highlighted Sara’s admiration for Beckham’s ability to balance his illustrious career with a fulfilling family life. Acknowledging the challenges of fame, Sara expressed, “If one is as big a celebrity as you are, it could get difficult to be seen as a human being. There is so much glamour, there is so much pressure that sometimes it’s difficult to see who you are, and I think for your family and children, there is this beautiful personal peace.”

Beckham, appreciative of Sara’s sentiments, responded, “Thank you for saying that, and I don’t think it has been explained and talked about like this. It’s a perfect description.”

The conversation touched upon Beckham’s Netflix documentary, where he shared a humorous incident involving his wife, Victoria. Reflecting on a scene where Victoria discussed being “working class,” Beckham revealed, “I did a documentary with Victoria where she talked about being working class (laughs)… but the thing about that scene was that we were filming, and Victoria never watched the stuff that I did, and I didn’t watch what she did. So, I took my headphones on, and I knew the stuff that she was going to say, but then I felt that ‘this is my moment’ and it was quite a funny moment.”

Delving into his personal life, Beckham shared that despite his success in football, his parents continued working until their 70s. “My mum was a hairdresser and she worked till she was 70 years old. She still cuts some old ladies’ hair. My father was a gas fitter, and he also worked till he was 75. So they are hardworking people,” he revealed.

As for the documentary, ‘Beckham,’ it unfolds his meteoric rise from humble beginnings to global football stardom, offering never-before-seen footage and insights into the challenges and triumphs of his extraordinary journey.
