In a heartbreaking incident during the Jallikattu event in Siravayal village, Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu, two lives were claimed, including that of a 12-year-old boy, R Rahul from Valayapatti. The unfortunate incident occurred when two bulls, positioned outside the designated arena, unexpectedly charged towards spectators, resulting in fatal injuries.
The victims, R Rahul and an unidentified man around 35 years old, faced separate attacks by the agitated bulls at approximately 12:45 pm. Despite prompt efforts by police and medical personnel present at the event, both individuals were pronounced dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
