At the recent convocation ceremony of Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar voiced deep concern over attempts to undermine the sanctity of constitutional institutions, urging for adherence to the principles laid down by BR Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.
Reflecting on the transformation of governance, Vice-President Dhankhar highlighted the evolution from an era tainted by pervasive corruption to a current landscape marked by transparency, accountability, and integrity. He underscored the pivotal role of the youth in sustaining this momentum of progress, urging them to be torchbearers of a resurgent India.
Emphasizing the non-negotiable tenets of governance, Vice-President Dhankhar asserted that the principles of honesty, accountability, transparency, and integrity have become integral to India’s governance framework. He lauded the strides made by India on the global stage, projecting a promising trajectory towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
Addressing the graduates, he encouraged them to leverage the affirmative policies and governance structures in place, fostering an environment conducive to innovation, enterprise, and national development. He commended the significant contributions of young minds in propelling India’s growth narrative, envisioning a future where India’s impact resonates globally.
Highlighting the transformative initiatives underway, Vice-President Dhankhar spotlighted investments in disruptive technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and quantum computing, aimed at fostering innovation and generating employment opportunities. He reiterated India’s commitment to sustainability with substantial investments in the Green Hydrogen Mission, poised to drive economic growth and environmental stewardship.
